The random character generator
This is a little toy for writers. It features hundreds of first names and surnames taken from spam emails plus some descriptions that occurred to me hinting at why each of these individuals may be sending out bulk email for a living. Then they’re all served up randomly in literally millions of possible combinations. Use this rather than spend hours agonising over the name of a minor character. Find inspiration for your characters! A Creative Commons non-commercial licence applies – in short, users are granted permission for the non-commercial and non-exclusive use of any character combinations that take their fancy. A quotation for all occasions, including some that you’d very definitely rather not imagine. For example, can you guess which wildly successful author said: “Thus faced with rejection I did what any serious artist would do.
