Motivational exercise
A list of books that I’ve read, am reading or intend to read in January:
- Elizabeth the Great - Elizabeth Jenkins
- Darkness In My Hand - Frederic Lindsay
- The Sandman Companion - Hy Bender
- Seeking Whom He May Devour - Fred Vargas
- Blacklist - Sara Paretsky
- Women on the Case - ed Sara Paretsky
An addition to this list is Tales of the City by Armistead Maupin. The whole series is going round on a Bookcrossing spiral which I am privileged to be taking part in. This means the person who registered the books sending each title out to a group of interested Bookcrossers, each of whom reads and passes on to the next person on the list, recording their thoughts on the journal page linked to above. If everything goes to plan, the original book ends up with the person who registered it, by which time the next one is on the way round…
An excellent take on the reading group idea, I thought.
